The European event for the kids of less than 16 years’ old found of ski & snowboard freestyle

For its second stage, the Oxbow Kid's Week Freestyle Tour was at the 7 Laux. In spite of a cloudy weather, it is on the snow front of Prapoutel, dressed for the occasion with the Oxbow’s colors, that a lots of passionate came to see the event.

David Livet, Florent Cuvillier and Stéphane Routin (Oxbow’s professional riders) were there to judge more than 50 kids during 1 hour and a half of jam session for the biggest pleasure of the spectators. Kids were able to ride a beautiful snow park created for the occasion: a table with 2 kickers, a butter-box, a lot of rails and a pyramid surmounted by a trunk where the bravest did some lumberjack’s tricks!

For the show and to maintain the pressure, the kids of the Oxbow team, Vincent, Alex, Theo, Victor,Benji, Chico and Aurélien offered to the public some madness tricks! All this young riders joined the Oxbow team during the previous editions of the Oxbow Kid's Week.

In the Oxbow village installed on the snow front, a lot of spectators were present to look at the competition. In spite of the lot of people, everybody was able to have his lip-stick offered by our partner Jetix as well as posters and stickers from Oxbow!

In parallel of the competition, we thank Hammer who lend during the all day to the public his new collection of snowboards and skis. People were able to use the new products of the brand and to test the last technology of snowboard and skis for free!

This stage at the 7 Laux ends with the prize-giving for the winners and a distribution of presents for the kids who participated to the contest. The AXUNN skis were won by the little girl Romane Charlet (that she could use when she will be bigger!).

Jordi Cartan, 14-year-old, is the happy winner of this stage which will join us on the 2 Alps glacier (Glacier des 2 Alpes) this summer.

The next stage will be on February the 24th in Blomberg - Bad Tölz (Germany).
